The family of Nolan Link Jr. of Brazoria Texas, is saddened to announce his passing on Tuesday, May 21 2024 at the age of 83. Nolan the loving son of Nolan and Agnus Link, was born on November 16, 1940 in Seguin Texas. After graduating from Brazosport High School in 1959, Nolan went on to receive an undergraduate degree from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville Texas. While at Sam Houston State University, Nolan married Judy Williamson in 1963. After graduation, Nolan and Judy began their travels around Texas with his career in the Oil and Gas industry spanning over 25 years, retiring from Shell Oil Company in 1991.

An avid outdoorsman, Nolan grew up hunting and fishing near Freeport Texas and truly loved spending time outdoors. He was a great teacher who shared his appreciation for the outdoors with his family instilling the same love for nature he possessed.

Above all, he loved his family deeply, always willing to help however he could.

Nolan is survived by his two sons, Randy (Laura) Link and Jeff (Amy) Link; grandchildren Austin and Ryan Link, nieces Rhonda (Gary) Moritz, Becky (Gary) Thurman, Kristin (Jeremy) McLeod, Shelby (Ross) Andrews, nephews Jay Reynolds and Steven (Rebecca) Horton, numerous grand nieces, nephews, and friends.

Nolan was preceded in death by his wife Judy, his parents Nolan and Agnus Link, and his brother Rickey Link.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 11:00am at Lakewood Funeral Chapel with reception to follow until 3:00pm.
