I didn't know Jesse, but I knew his wife when she was a child and and I know her family well, as they and my son Patrick have remained closest friends since High School. So, I heard about Jesse when he married Amanda and then through the years I heard about their children and what a great husband and loving father Jesse was. He was a man of integrity and gentle strength who was devoted to his family, and the love he and they had for each other never wavered, but grew stronger and more endearing through the years. This I know from from Patrick, Charlie and Belinda. To the Guzman Family and the Guevara Family, Solomon tells us in the Book of Ecclesiastes that the sun sets, but it rises again, and it will rise in the memories you have of the good and loving and fun times with Jesse; Your husband, father, son, brother, your friend. You will feel a breeze or see a sunset or hear a piece of music and you will feel his presence and know that he is in the arms of the Lord, but watching over you and know that you will see him again. I send all the comfort and love possible in this short note of condolences. Deepest respect and sympathy. Pauline

I knew that I liked Jesse the first time we met. I could tell immediately that he loved Amanda. He was authentic and humble, and he passed that on to his children. Jesse fought countless battles to remain there for his family. Amanda, Jasmine, Jesse and Mariyah stood at his side through every step. I know that he is looking after them all from on high. God bless you Brother.
