Viola Lucille Jones Wyatt (''Sugar'')
The family of Viola Lucille Jones Wyatt, lovingly known as ''Sugar,'' has said their final goodbyes.
She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, on February 11, 1935, and took her last earthly breath on June 10, 2025, at the graceful age of 90.
Viola now joins her beloved husband, Jorden Wyatt; her granddaughter, Stephanie Wyatt; her mother, Thelma Lucille Bishop Jones; her father, William Russell Jones; and a host of cherished brothers and sisters.
Many will remember Viola - affectionately known as Sister Wyatt - as a devoted Sunday School teacher, talented seamstress, and skilled craftswoman. Her hand-painted, rustic creations adorned and blessed many homes.
She is survived by her son, Steve Wyatt, and his wife, Rena Case Wyatt, and their daughters:
· Brooke Wyatt Larsen, her husband Darren, and their children: Takoda, Wyatt, James, Everly, and Owen.
· Amber Wyatt Palmer, her husband Jeremiah, and their children: Josiah and Amaziah.
She is also survived by her daughter, Shirley Wyatt Little, and her husband, Lonnie Little, and their children:
· Crystal Little Bonner, and her children: Alex and Aiden.
· Shane Little, his wife, Celeste Lindsey Little.
Though our farewells are bittersweet, we rest in the assurance that she now celebrates a renewed body and spirit in the presence of those who went before her. Per her wishes, Mom requested a private gathering of her immediate family at her interment in Gause, Texas, where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Jorden Wyatt.
Mom, please give Dad and Stephanie a big hug from us.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to Choice Hospice and Cornerstone Caregiving for their compassionate care and support during Mom's final days.
