Darrell Eugene Baxley, age 68, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025, after a long battle with Lung Cancer. Darrell was born February 28,1957, in Livingston Texas to parents David E. Baxley and Billie J. Rhoden Baxley. They moved to Angleton Texas in 1965.
Darrell was preceded in death by his parents David and Billie Baxley and son-in-law Dale Willy.
He is survived by his daughter Kristy M. Baxley. Granddaughter Zoey N. McDaniel. His sister Terri Willy. His nephew Dustin Willy, his wife Crystal Willy, and their children, Trey Rodriguez, and Aria Willy.
The loss of my dad has completely shattered me. He wasn't just my father - he was my best friend, my rock, my support system, my everything, and my best dad a daughter could ever ask for.
He touched the lives of so many through his kindness, generosity, sense of humor, and unwavering strength. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and kindness, having touched more lives than he ever knew. He had a deep love for the outdoors and felt most at peace while bushcrafting with his friends, camping and spending time in nature. He appreciated well-made tools, especially knives and firearms, and nothing made him happier than riding his motorcycle, a good steak and a cold Shiner beer.
His family was everything to him and his daughter and granddaughter were his pride and joy.
I lieu of flowers, the family has a GoFundMe account set up https://gofund.me/58ff77e6b.
There will be a Celebration Of Life at the

After the Celebration Of Life my dad will be taking
