Longina "Kina" Naranjo

Our little "powerhouse" received her wings on December 13th, 2025. Our Mother was a kind and hardworking, but the greatest gift she share with our family was having Faith in God. She never missed her Sundays in Church, Adoration and saying her rosary daily. She was always willings to help family, friends and church in anyway possible. Her energy was endless and she shared her light everywhere she went! Mom was employed with Freeport Hospital and then Brazosport Community Hospital. She worked until she was diagnose with Stage 4 stomach cancer back in 1960's, they only gave her 4 months to live, but our energizer bunny made it to 99 years, 9 days short her 100th birthday. She will forever be in our hearts.

Born to Alfredo Ortegon and Maria Paula Perez on December 21, 1925. She later married to Olegario Naranjo and raised 3 children. Mom's greatest enjoyments in life were her grandchildren, attending to her plants/flowers and watching her Astros.

She is survived by her children Ovidio Naranjo (spouse Roberta Naranjo), and Delia N. Flores (spouse Luis Flores), grandsons Chistopher and Jermey Narajo and granddaughter Elizabeth Flores.

Preceded in death by her husband Olegario Naranjo, son Hector Naranjo, her brothers Meliton and Temotadio Ortegon, her sisters Maria Pilar Ortegon, Florinda Garza, Victoria Garcia and grandson Gabriel Naranjo.
