Carsyn Jade Wren, age 16, passed away on January 20, 2026. She was born on December 25, 2009, to Amy Cantrell and Jared Wren in Lake Jackson, Texas.

Carsyn was a sophomore in high school and attended Brazosport Independent School District, where she excelled academically. From a young age, she shined brightly and was known for her confidence, grace, and infectious smile. She won several beauty pageants as a child, experiences that helped shape her poise and self-assurance as she grew into a beautiful young woman.

Carsyn had a kind heart and an infectious smile that made everyone around her feel at ease. She had a special passion for caring for younger relatives and was especially devoted to her little sister. She had a profound affection for animals, nurturing them with a gentle and compassionate spirit. Carsyn loved all things beauty, including hair, makeup, and nails, and enjoyed expressing her creativity through them. In her free time, she cherished being with her family, often spending time at her grandparents' home, where her laughter and smile filled the room. Carsyn had a love for cooking and baking, often experimenting with new recipes and exploring diverse cuisines. She had recently begun learning to drive and continued to excel in her academics, with a bright future ahead.

Carsyn is survived by her mother, Amy Cantrell; her father, Jonathon Potts; her brother, Cole Potts; and her beloved little sister, Kennedy Potts. She is also survived by her grandparents, Sheila and Gene Wren, Mary Ann Cantrell, great grandparents Roy Soell, Howard Cantrell(Linda) and Mary Jo Stedman; her aunts, Jamy Kay (Colton) and Julie Wren; her uncle, Brandon (Demi); and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and loved ones who will forever remember her infectious smile and loving spirit.

She was preceded in death by her great-great-grandmothers, Mary Lou Starr-Barbree and Grace Soell, and her uncle, Travis Eugene Potts.

Carsyn's glowing presence and infectious smile will be missed beyond words, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
