Fannie Margaret Potter Milligan
Fannie Margaret Potter Milligan, 95, went to her heavenly home on May 20, 2026. She was born December 1, 1930, in Dale, Texas, to George Vance Potter and Fannie Aberella Potter. She grew up in Austin, Texas and graduated from Austin High School. While working at JCPenney, she met the love of her life, James Edward Milligan. They were married June 19, 1947. They had two daughters, Marilynn Jean Bowles and Margaret Ann Dingee. They moved to Lake Jackson in 1957, where Jimmy went to work for Dow Chemical Co. Fannie loved being a homemaker and going to garage sales. She enjoyed painting landscapes and flowers, sewing and crocheting. She loved traveling the country with Jimmy in their motorhome. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She loved shopping with her granddaughter, Aimee, and watching all the grandsons play baseball. Family get togethers were her favorite.
Fannie Is survived by her daughter, Marilynn Bowles (Jimmie). Grandchildren, Justin Bowles (Ginny), Aimee Davis (Duane), Cody Dingee (Monica), Wes Dingee (Jessica), Kyle Dingee (Bri). Great grandchildren, Emma Bowles, Tanner Davis, Carli Burley (Cole), Cole Davis (Teagan), Fischer Dingee (Hailee), Reese Dingee, Ada Dingee, Reef Dingee, Cress Dingee, Tate Dingee, Linc Dingee. Great great grandchildren, Silas Dingee and Beau Burley. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 66 years, James Edward Milligan, her daughter, Margaret Ann Dingee, her grandson, Kevin Ray Beam, and two brothers and five sisters.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Justin, Cody, Wes, Kyle and Duane. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 27, at 1:00 p.m. at Restwood Cemetery outdoor Mausoleum Chapel.
