Leroy Pennock Jr., born on August 3, 1931, was welcomed into the kingdom of Heaven on April 3, 2012. He will be greeted at the gates by his wife, Beulah Pennock, daughter Linda Kennelly, grandson Jeremy Woodruff, father Leroy Warren Pennock, mother Gertie Pennock, and sister Evelyn Milligan.

He is survived by his sons, Warren Pennock and wife Elda, and Alan Pennock; daughter Wanda Pennock; brother Norman Pennock and wife Aretha; sister-in-law Nita (Pie) Dever; grandsons William Pennock and significant other Lee Skyes, Justin Woodruff, Matthew Leitch and wife Jennifer, Jeffrey Leitch and wife Brandy; granddaughters Cynthia, Tammy and Alexandra Pennock, Arleene Hone; great grandchildren Laura Dewalt, Cheyene and Cheylyn Pennock, Joleene and Britney Woodruff, Jeremiah and Bella Leitch, Kayla Hebert, Anna Glover and Bruce McDonald; great great grandchildren Layla Hebert, Levi, Jamison and Andrew Glover and numerous nieces and nephews.

Leroy's adventures in life included serving in the National Guard and then served in World War II in the U. S. Army, worked for Dow Chemical for 30 years. He also loved to fish, spend time with family and garden. He also had a passion for volunteering at the Brazosport Cares Food Pantry.

The family of Leroy would like to express their gratitude to the Brazosport Cares Food Pantry and the Hospice Care Team.
