Brenda Gail Chapman Neuerburg

Gail was born in Bessmay, Texas on January 25, 1952 and passed away at her home in Lake Jackson on January 24, 2013. She is survived by her husband, John and two children, Chris and Nicole, her mother, Hazel Chapman, sisters Teresa Suits and Donna Schwebel, and brother, Steve Chapman. Gail graduated from Brazosport High School in 1970 and Brazosport College in 1972.
Memorial services for Gail will be held at the Lakewood Funeral Chapel at 3:00 PM on Monday January 28th.

John and Gail were high school sweethearts and were married for over 40 years. In the mid 1970's Gail went to work for Exxon in Baytown. She quickly worked her way up from the mailroom to become the youngest female buyer they had. She loved her work but decided to stay home when Nicole and Chris were born.

She and John opened his present practice of chiropractic in 1986 where she worked for the next ten years. She retired again when the kids became teenagers. She wanted to be involved in their activities and keep as close an eye on them as possible.

The family would like to express their appreciation for the care given to Gail by Dr. Howard LaRoche and the hospice care team from A-Med Healthcare Group. A special thanks goes to Gail's caretaker for the last year, Debra Honeycutt and special friends Barbara Monte' and Kathy Quinley.

Online condolences may be made to the family at www.lakewoodfuneralchapel.com.
