William B. Clinton, Sr. of Brazoria, Texas passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Cypress Woods Care Center in Angleton, Texas.




Born April 13, 1932 in Rockdale, Texas to Bernard and Annie Clinton. William was a veteran of the Korean conflict. He retired from Dow Chemical Company after over 33 years of service. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Shady Acres, where he served as deacon for over 40 years. Hobbies were gardening, hunting, woodworking and enjoying his family.




William is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Janie Smith; daughter, Sharon Shelander and wife of 56 years, Jo Ann.




He is survived by his son Bill Clinton (wife Dena), daughter Karen Karl (husband Gary); grandsons John Shelander (wife Angie) and Kevin Karl (wife Laura-Sue); granddaughters Amanda Sweeney (husband Roger), Katrina Otto (husband Brent), Angela Clinton, Nesha Shelander and Krystle Karl; great-grandchildren Kaitlyn Fields, Matthew and Nicholas Sweeney and Kaedyn Otto; siblings Peggy Bird (husband Robert), Richard Clinton (wife Delores), Nancy Luke (husband James) and Jimmy Clinton (wife Mary) and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.




Funeral services will be at Lakewood Funeral Home in Lake Jackson, Texas with visitation Tuesday February 12th from 6-8:00 p.m. and funeral services Wednesday February 13th at 2:00 p.m.
