My condolences to all the family. Dr Tannery was a wonderful man. I remember him fondly at the office/house in Freeport as we teens ran in and out of that home. He always had a kind word for me.

Words fall short of expressing my sadness on your loss. Even as a little girl hanging out in your house on 2nd street; Dr. Tannery was an impressive figure. He was stern but with a fun sense of humor and so very motivating and encouraging. Dee said today that one of the best compliments he gave her was "that she was just like her mother". I think she is also "just like her father" in her goal setting and always reaching for another challenge. "Like father - like daughter". He was a great man.
