H.T. Brumley, Jr.

H.T. Brumley Jr. of Freeport passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2013. He was born on February 19, 1959, to Vivian Louise (Chuter) and H.T. Brumley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, James Lawrence Farmer and Ralph Edward Farmer, his nephew David James Stephenson, as well as his maternal and paternal Grandparents.

He is survived by his sisters, Margaret Stephenson of Manvel, Angie and her husband David Pack of Sugarland, Darlene and her husband Marvin Ringo of Brazoria; Uncle Donald Chuter of Orange, Aunt Mary Ann (Chuter) Dewar of Brenham, Aunt Faye (Brumley) Hadley of Alabama; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.

HT was born and raised in Freeport, Texas and spent the majority of his adult life in Brazoria County. He most enjoyed the simple things in life; fishing, Bar-B-Q'ing, pitching horseshoes, the beach and just hanging out with friends. He has really missed his "Bubba" over the last 12-years; I have no doubt that they are pitching horseshoes in Heaven now, laughing and catching up on old times.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation and gratitude to the Music family who has continued to support our brother in love and friendship over the last few years as his health continued to decline. We would also like to thank his life-long friend "Skeeter" for always being there for him, through thick and thin.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 8:00 pm on Monday, June 3, 2013 at the Lakewood Funeral Home in Lake Jackson, Texas. A private graveside service will be held at the Restwood Cemetery at a later date.
