Vernice Keck Waldrip, age 86, of Angleton, passed away on June 30, 2013.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 5th at the Lakewood Chapel 98 N. Dixie Drive Lake Jackson, TX 77566 with Pastor Chris Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Restwood Cemetery and Memorial Park 1038 W. Plantation Drive Clute, TX 77531.

Vernice was born April 17, 1927 to John and Callie Florence Keck in Lark, Oklahoma. She also had a brother, George Keck.
She married Luther W. Waldrip Sr. on November 26, 1945 and had three children: Charlotte, Luther, Jr, Johnny.

She is survived by: Son Johnny Waldrip and wife Cindy; Grandchildren: David Hall, Tracey Hall Penney, Luther Waldrip, III and wife Terri, Renea Waldrip, John Waldrip, and James Waldrip, and ten great grandchildren.
