Bonnie Kay French Bartlett, born November 5, 1946, in Houston, Texas, joined Jesus in heaven on July 11, 2013. She was an outstanding mother and friend who left many who love her immensely. She raised two sons, Wenzel Paul Bartlett and George Andrew Bartlett, who loved her dearly and dedicate their successes to her. Bonnie was an avid fan of all things Houston sports-oriented. She watched her Astros, Rockets and Texans with great dedication and always cheered their accomplishments. An active resident of the Lake Jackson Manor apartments, Bonnie found much joy from the Red Hat Club and spending time with her primary caregiver, Eugenia Collier. A graduate of Stephen F. Austin High School, a member of the Scottish Brigade drill team, attendee of the University of Texas and graduate of the University of Houston, Bonnie maintained her own accounting business and loved spending her free time with family. Her parents, Wenzel and Ruby French, preceded her in death. Honoring her memory are son Wenzel, wife Anne and granddaughters Hannah and Sarah, together with son Andy, wife Elizabeth, and grandchildren Madeline, Owen and Annabelle. Sister Peggy French Mitchell and brother-in-law Ray Mitchell, joined by nephew Matthew Mitchell, niece Meredith Crowell and their respective families, also celebrate her life. Bonnie's memory will be forever treasured. In lieu of flowers, please direct all contributions to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 8111 Stadium Drive, Suite 100, Houston, Texas, 77054. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at Lakewood Funeral Chapel with Rev. Gary Thomson officiating.
