JUSTIN CURTIS JACKSON, 31, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Angleton, Texas, on Saturday, August 24, 2013. Born February 23, 1982, in Lubbock Texas, he spent most of his younger years in Greenville, Brandon and Bentonia, Mississippi.

He was a 2000 graduate of Northwest Rankin High School in Brandon, MS, where he enjoyed playing soccer for his high school team and Jackson Futbol Club. After attending Delta State University and Marion Military Institute, he moved to Angleton, Texas and had been employed at Academy Sports for the past three years.

Though sometimes quiet and soft-spoken, Justin loved reading, playing his games, watching movies, joking with his friends, laughing with and making others laugh with his funny faces and funny sense of humor. Although he is now with our Heavenly Father, he was taken far too soon and will be sorely missed by family and friends alike.
Preceded in death by his grandfather, Lt. Colonel Thomas G. Nicholson of Bentonia, MS, and grandmother Dorothy Jackson of Kingsland, TX, Justin is survived by his parents, Cindy Perry and husband Joe of Bentonia, MS, and Richard Jackson and wife Jan of Angleton, TX; sister Nancy Delancey and husband Jake of Ridgeland, MS; brother Ricky Jackson of Angleton, TX; and dear girlfriend Kisha Pinkney of Angleton, TX. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother Nancy Conlin and husband John of Odessa, TX; paternal grandfather Charles Jackson of Kingsland, TX; Uncles Stoney Jackson and wife Doris of Lubbock, TX, Ronnie Jackson and wife Martha of El Paso, TX, and Tommy Jackson and wife Angie of Lubbock, TX; Aunt's Niki Palmer and husband Matt of Houston, TX and Sherry Brandinu and husband Roberto of Switzerland; and many cousins and friends who will deeply miss him.

Visitation will be at Lakewood Funeral Home, 98 North Dixie Drive; Lake Jackson, Texas from 5:00-9:00 pm on Saturday, August 31, 2013. Funeral Services will be held at First Baptist Church at 401 Yaupon Street, Lake Jackson, Texas at 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 1, 2013. Pastor Chad Alexander officiating.
