Dear Kristle and Melody,

Already, miss your Mom!

I have known Evelyne for many years. She and Glen faithfully took their family to church. We began forming our friendship back when each of you were "little ones"! We watched our families go through "life's challenges" (the good times and not so good). Family support and God's grace keep both families in tact.

Each time we met was filled with the "latest and greatest news (Michael going off to college, Randy playing in the baseball league(s), Roger and Sharon raising their family, Melody and Kristle growing up, marrying and raising their families!).

When it became time for Evelyne and I to enter the "outside work force", she and I showed up on the same day for our TDECU job interview. Both Evelyne and I were hired! Evelyne, was a great liaison to our members! She had a heart-of-gold and took care of the members! So much so, that while she was on vacation in Colorado - on a high mountain top - when what should she hear? "Mrs. Sealy!!! What are you doing here in Colorado?"
Can you imagine? Even in CO they found her! What a compliment to Evelyne

I was fortunate to work with Evelyne for at least 7+ years at TDECU! She served on our Board of Directors. After a time, Evelyne was fortunate enough to know and later marriy Jim Demland.

I am very fortunate to have met, known, worked and gained the friendship of Evelyne (Sealy) Demland! A wonderful lady who cherished her family! She was a strong lady with strong faith!

Missing Evelyne,

Although I haven't seen Evelyne in years, I am saddened to hear of her passing. I had the pleasure of working with her at TDECU from 82-93. She was a joy to be around and we shared lots of laughs. I know she is in a better place but will be greatly missed by her family and friends. My prayers will be with you.

Our prayers are with the family. Ms. Sealy gave me my first car loan and it came with the advise of how much should be put in my savings acct monthly. She was one of a kind and will be missed.
