"Casey had a heart as big as Texas and a smile that could light up a room. Though she faced many trials and hardships during her 28 years here with us, Casey never let it bring her down. She had the greatest outlook on life that you have ever seen. Casey never met a stranger and she loved absolutely everyone. We all love you so much baby and we will miss you dearly."

My memories of Casey are from her years in elementary school. Although she was not one of my students, I knew her and have fond memories of her greeting me with a smile, saying
"Hey, Ms. Wood", and lifting her arms up to give a hug. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Carolyn, as you draw strength and comfort from our Heavenly Father and the presence of your family and friends.

I was very blessed to have taught Casey in junior high school. I can still remember how her eyes sparkled when she laughed. She was a true friend to her classmates and "they all" loved her dearly.
May the time you have shared with Casey and the memories bring you peace.

Carolyn , I am so saddened to hear about Casey. You know she was one of my special students. Now she is with her Master , Jesus Christ. No more pain . Life will be perfect for her.in Heaven. I will always remember her smile and desire to do what the children did in class even in her wheelchair. What an inspiration. You, Carolyn were the perfect mother for her and to her. God Bless you and yours and may He give you His peace and understanding. Gloria Boehm
