Funeral services for Jose Octavio (Tavo) Castillo,age 51, of Freeport, Texas will be held Saturday March 8 th, 2014 at 10:00am at Lakewood Funeral Home in Lake Jackson,Texas with Father Lyons officiating. Interment will be held at Restwood Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Lakewood funeral home in Lake Jackson for a Visitation service will be held Friday, March 7 th ,2014 from 5-8 pm .

Jose was born to Sr. Ramon Castillo & Sra. Elia Castillo Razo (deceased) in Guanajuato,Mexico on June 9,1962 he was the oldest chid of 9 children. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Flora Castillo, his two children: Criselda Castillo, & Jeremy Castillo including his family Jocelyn Gomez, and only granddaughter Jayla Castillo who he loved very dearly. His sibilings ,Maria Luz, Patricia, Sanjuana,Ruben,Ricardo,Ramon,(wife) Doris, Oscar, Alejandro and numerous nieces and nephews.
He loved to build things, played on some local soccer leagues the ought the years, watching soccer & NASCAR racing. He loved planting & gardening . He loved to watch the Food Network and cook new recipes. He loved visiting with friends.

Pallbearers will be Jose Rangel, Carlos Rangel, and rest to be named at a later time.
