Mary Joyce Davis Stancliff, 83, of Clute, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2014 surrounded by her family. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother. She grew up in Rosenburg, Tx, and married Harold Earl Stancliff of El Campo, Texas. She was a stay at home mom who volunteered in many things such as a Girl Scout Leader, Room Mom, etc. and enjoyed sewing. She also loved having her grand children and great-grand children over.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Earl Sr., her parents, William and Mary E Davis, two sons, Harold Earl Jr., and Brian Edward, four brothers, Ray, Bob, Chester, and Jack Davis, two sisters, Elsie Murphy and Isabel Carroll, and a great grandson, Jacob Andrew Taylor.
She is survived by her daughters: Sharon Bujan-Adams (Glyn), Wanda Schaefer (Bert Sr.), and Vickie Solf (Terry), grandchildren: Laurie Burton (Rusty), Michelle Taylor (Jeff), Bert Jr., Kimberly, and Michael Schaefer, Samantha Alexander (Jason), Bruce Solf, and Mary Ann Raines; great-grandchildren: Janek, Roderic (Vivian), Irish, Reagan, Ceana, Aiden, Ailsa, Calder, and Seamus Burton, Ashley, Casey, Jessica, Rachel, and Dustin Taylor, Kaitlyn Schaefer, Erin and Brendan Garza and Nicholas Raines. Many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Her first great-great-grandchild is due to be born in May.
Paulbearers: Bert Jr. and Michael Schaefer, Jeff Taylor, Bruce Solf, and Tracy Westergaard.
