Maria V. DeLaRosa, 81, of Lake Jackson passed away May 6, 2014 with her family by her side. She was born November, 12, 1932 to the late Jose and Matilde Valdez. Survivors include her sons, Lloyd, Nick, Hector; and daughters, Olivia and Alma; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.


She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to so many. A viewing will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, at the Church at Brazosport, 1816 Old Angleton Rd.


Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday at the Church at Brazosport. Burial will be at 11:00 at Dignity Memorial Park.
