Otis R. (Dude) Porter (9/14/1918-9/20/2014) a loving Brother, Husband, Father of two, Grandfather of seven, and Great Grandfather of six. He resided in Clute on W. Kyle since 1956 and retired from Dow Chemical after 28 years of service as a pipefitter welder. He served on the Board of Directors of TDECU and was a past District Depute Grand Master of the Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed traveling with Good Sams Trailer Club and enjoyed fishing at Harris Reservoir as a Dow retiree. He was a founding member of the First Christian Church of Lake Jackson. Dude was a veteran of WWII and was predeceased by his wife Vivian and his son Raymond.

The family will receive friends 7pm-9pm Friday, September 26, 2014 at Lakewood Chapel. Funeral Services will be 10am Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Lakewood Chapel with Rev. Cynthia Myers officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Cancer Society, or First Christian Church of Lake Jackson, 503 Oyster Creek Drive, Lake Jackson, Tx 77566.
