Donnie Ray Martin, 71, died March 18, 2015 in Angleton, Texas. Donnie could accomplish anything he set his mind to including building several of his own homes. Donnie worked over 40 years at Dow Chemical as an operator and retired as a tankerman at the marine department.
He and his wife also owned and operated the Hometown Café in Angleton.


Donnie was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Dianna Martin, and his parents, Ray and Rosetta Martin, and brother Roy Martin.



He is survived by his son Jeremey L. Stark and wife Alisha of Angleton, daughter, Cherl Martin Mooney and husband Michael of Angleton, son, Charles Martin of Carlsbad, New Mexico, grandchildren: Cade and Kindle Gamble; Chandler and Brook Mooney, 2 sisters: Betty Martin and Brenda Ford of New Mexico.


Donnie will be greatly missed by many including his weekly poker buddies.



The family requests in lieu of flowers donations may be made to your favorite charity in memory of Donnie. At Donnie's request there will be no public services.

I'm so sorry for all of you. Lot's of wonderful memories. A tough looking guy, who could be a handful but as gentle as lamb. Always in my memories. Love to all. Rhonda.
