Pam was always such a sweet and kind, caring person. We hadn't seen each other in awhile when in a doctor's waiting room, she came up to me as I read a magazine and asked,"Do you remember me?" I looked up and said, "Well of course I recognize you. I said, you are Pam Vandergrifft." She quickly told me, "Well, I was Pam Vandergrifft, I changed my name awhile back to Swansey." We just carried on like we had missed no time since we had talked. I loved that lady. No matter where you were in this world she had the ability to show you her love from years ago. Full of life and lots of happy stories about her "grandbabies," she called them. Even I knowing they were no longer babies. I knew how she felt about them. Rest in peace my beautiful friend.
