Betty Jane Beeson
6/9/1933 - 7/16/2021

Betty Jane Allen Beeson passed through this life and to her Heavenly Home on July 16, 2021. Betty always had faith in 2 Corinthians 5:8.

Betty was born in Quintana, Texas on June 9, 1933. She remained in Brazoria County throughout her life. Betty graduated from Freeport HS, in 1951. She loved being in the band and was a member of the drum line.

Betty never lost her love of music and would enjoy local concerts with friends and family.

Betty was also known for all the wonderful desserts she baked. The family always looked forward to the cakes she would make and share with all. Especially the coconut cake! Betty was also a seamstress, and had sewn her own wedding dress. She sewed the clothes of all four of her children. She was thrilled when she got her first sewing machine that would wind its own bobbin! She also sewed her eldest daughter 's wedding dress and the bridesmaid dress.

But you never wanted to challenge Betty to a card game of Rummy! She had a knack for winning and then left you with a hand full of cards. Anytime you would go visit Betty, you would usually find her at the kitchen table playing Solitaire.

Betty has left behind her daughters, Connie and (Johnathan "Kimbo") Black, Sondra (Mark Edward) Dickman; son, Neal (Brenda) Beeson; sisters, Shirley Parrott, Joyce Beeson; grandchildren, Landon, Aaron, Amy, Julie, Troy; great-grandchildren, Emma, Samantha, Scarlett, Easton, Clyde, Graham, Whitten, and Ellis; numerous nieces and nephews (whom she loved dearly).
