Her children rise up and call her blessed; Her husband also, and he praises her: ''Many daughters have done well, But you excel them all.'' Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her own works praise her in the gates.''

Tena Marie Olsen Baxter sadly passed away on April 23rd, 2024 after a courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer. She departed peacefully at her home surrounded by loved ones.

Born on August 14th, 1961, Tena touched the lives of those around her with her strength, resilience, and unwavering spirit. Despite facing the challenges of her illness, she remained a beacon of hope and inspiration to all who knew her. Throughout her life, Tena embodied kindness and compassion. Her selflessness, generosity, and unwavering faith knew no bounds. Her legacy of love will be cherished by all who had the privilege of sharing in her beautiful journey.

Tena Marie Olsen Baxter is preceded in death by her grandparents Matilda and Hunter Utley, her mother Barbara OIsen and her mother-in-law Donna Baxter, and her grandson Blane Muirheid. She is survived by her loving family, including her husband Kenneth Baxter, four sisters including, Cheryl Rice, Wanda Brown, Betty Blackman, and Bonnie Ondras. Her children and their spouses Josh and Wendy Muirheid, Dusty and Kati Muirheid, Kyle and Amy Muirheid, and Krystal and Patrick Gomez. She had many cherished grandchildren, including Shelby, Jay, Christopher, Sydney, Haydn, Evan, Klayton, Jessie, Kya, Jaiden, Korie, Noah, Ty, Ella, Wayde, and Hudsyn. She also had three great-grandchildren, Jonah, Paisley, and Blakeleigh. Tena also had many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and family members that she truly adored.

Tena met Kenneth at Family Life Church in February of 2000 and married on February 1st, 2003. Their marriage led to 21 years of happiness, endless laughter, and many cherished memories. Together they loved to travel and go camping in their RV. Some of their fondest memories were their annual spring trips to the hill country on their Harley-Davidson to enjoy the bluebonnets and each other. Their faith in God led to a strong foundation in their marriage and has been an example to all those in their life.

May Tena Marie Olsen Baxter rest in eternal peace, free from pain, and may she be remembered for the love and light she brought into the lives of others.
