Sara Nicole Silvas

Sara Nicole Silvas was born on April 7, 1997 at 6:45 pm in Angleton, TX to Rudy and Monica Silvas. In the words of her parents she was the perfect baby. She was happy, and playful, and had big beautiful curls. She was full of life from the beginning. She was baptized at St. Jerome Catholic Church with her Godparents Martin and Michael Martinez beaming with pride. She attended elementary school at Polk Elementary. She was then the first class of 5th graders to attend school at Clute Intermediate. While at CIS she played volleyball in 7th grade and was on the cheerleading squad in the 8th grade. She attended her freshmen and sophomore years at Brazoswood High School. In the summer of 2012 she enrolled in the dual-credit program at Manvel High School. She attended Manvel High School her junior and senior year while also continuing her college education through the dual-credit program. She was scheduled to graduate with her associates from Alvin Community College in May and graduate with her high school diploma in June. She then planned to attend MD Anderson Cancer Center's School of Health Professions to become a diagnostic sonographer. Sara was a vivacious athlete. She began playing softball when she was 7 years old. She played on teams including the Busy Bees, Elite, Magic, Lady Horns, Mojo, the Brazoswood Lady Bucs, and the Manvel Lady Mavericks. She loved music with her favorite bands including Hoodie Allen, G-Easy, and Magic City. Due to her infectious nature she never met a stranger and had the amazing ability to find the good and positive in anybody. She was fun loving and free spirited, she would run with her arms at her side even though it drove her dad crazy. She had so many friends from all walks of her life. She had a smile to brighten any room, a laugh that filled your heart, a warm embracing hug that brought comfort, and an amazing and creative mind, she was the heart of her family. To her mother she was her sounding board, her sanity, her hairstylist, make-up artist, guiding light, and best friend. To her father she was his everything, his life, he knew that no matter what happened in life she would always be there, she gave him purpose. There was an unspoken language between Sara and her dad that only they understood.
