On December 10, 2018, Stephanie Harris went into cardiac arrest and had a blood clot form in her lung. She never recovered. On December 14, she was removed from life support.

Stephanie was a loving and caring person always helping others; even in death, Stephanie donated her liver, kidneys, and heart valves so others may live.

Stephanie enjoyed being on cook-off teams with her uncles and cousins.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her father, Marty Johnson; grandfather, Lagette "Pete" Cleaver; uncle, Tommy Cleaver; and aunt, Pixie.

She is survived by her mother, Joyce Johnson; husband, John Brandon Harris; her children, Nathan Lagette, Sapphire Starr and Scarlett Grace Hall. Stephanie is also survived by her step-son, JC Harris; special nieces, Lilly and Serenity Johnson; and special nephew, Armonie Johnson. Stephanie is also survived by her brother, "Butch" (Mandi) Johnson; sister, Diane Johnson; grandmother, Ruth Cleaver; in-laws, Pat and John Harris; nieces, Lindie Johnson, Merry Wallace, Maggie Wall; and nephew, Malichi Wallace.

I remember when we were little girls running all around and how much fun we had. And the compassion and love you had for everyone, it kinda showed in your face and eyes. You were like a ball of sunshine. That's how I'll remember you. So long for now old friend of mine. Until we meet again
