Grew up in West Columbia, graduating Columbia High School 1987. Graduate of Texas State Technical College, Waco, TX. Worked many years in automotive parts sales in Waco and moved back to Brazoria County working at Auto Zone and finally found his workplace family at Gulf Coast Nissan Parts.

In younger days he loved riding his dirt bike motorcycles with his brothers and friends, playing his drums while listening to music and playing with bands. He was in another world playing his drums.

His biggest role (being the oldest brother) was watching out for his two brothers, Jarrod and Mike.

If there was an Astros or Texans game on TV he would put on the appropriate team shirt and get his snacks, food and beverage ready to watch the game.

Survivors Parents, Sheryl and Joe Harris of West Columbia and brother, Jarrod Jones and his wife, Nicole, and niece and nephew Christa and Joshua of Helotes, TX, Grandmother, Betty Labay of Somerville and several aunts and uncles and cousins.

Preceded in Death Brother, Michael (Mike) Jones, Grandfather, PaPa Allen Labay, and Grandparents, PaPa Roy Jones and Nana Mary Jones.

We know his brother, Mike, was waiting on his arrival at the gates of heaven smiling with that Brotherly smirk on his face. We miss them.

Prayer to Saint Christopher

Grant me, O Lord, a steady hand and watchful eye. That no one shall be hurt as I pass by. You gave life, I pray no act of mine may take away or mar that gift of thine. Shelter those, dear Lord, who bear my company, from the evils of fire and all calamity. Teach me, to use my car for others need; Nor miss through love of undue speed The beauty of the world; that thus I may with joy and courtesy go on my way. St. Christopher, holy patron of travelers, protect me and lead me safely to my destiny. Amen.

I love you Brother! Say hello to Mike.

Dearest Chris,
I know that Mike wanted you with him and that Jesus made a way for your homecoming to happen so much faster than we could've ever expected. I know that you will prayerfully watch over all of us. Thank you for the memories you have left with us and the love that only you could give. We will miss your smile, your beautiful giving heart and your storytelling. So happy that you are living pain free and that your Soul is free to live forever in Heaven. Please watch over your amazing Parents who are grieving and will until our eternal reunion. Love and prayers always for a Son, Grandson, Brother, Uncle and true Friend who is so missed. God's blessings upon Sheryl and Joe Harris. They who were hand selected to guide you on earth. God's Peace beyond all understanding over your Brother Jarrod and your Niece Christa and Nephew Joshua. Our faith tells us that we will reunite forevermore and we all look forward to seeing you and Mike on the other side of those pearly gates. Philippians 4:7
