Jerry was a great musician and delightful human being. I made wonderful friends and strong memories with him and the other members of the band Mamabear. I extend my sincerest condolences to his family and close friends, who I know will miss him very much.

My love, thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time. I went to school and graduated with Jerry and we were in the band together. I know he enjoyed all the years he was band director at Alvin. SO sorry we didn't get to have a class reunion this year so we could have seen him. He will be remembered by us all.
