Funeral services for Elizabeth (Bennick Bice) Stark, age 96, of Lake Jackson, Texas will be held at 12:00pm on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Church of Christ 402 Center Way Lake Jackson, TX. The family will receive friends at Church of Christ 402 Center Way Lake Jackson, TX from 10:30am-12:00pm on Wednesday, April 28, 2021

She was known for her kind heart and wise, yet gentle, loving ways, and especially for her love of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Fondly known as "Betty", she loved her family, church family and friends, the beach where she had a special gift for finding the tiniest of treasures buried in the sand, and you would often find her reading a book by her window overlooking her plants and nature. Betty was born on September 2, 1924 in Bay City, Texas. As an only child she quickly learned the value of family and ultimately fostered an amazing network of family through her devotion to her friends and her faith in God. Quick witted and full of life was her standard, she had an amazing ability to be tough as nails yet at the same time, compassionate, loving and kind. There is no doubt that Betty is shining down on all of those who were blessed to know and love her.

Survived by her son, Danford Lowell Bice, daughter-in-law, Verna Smith Bice, two grandchildren, Allison Amanda Bice and Julie Ann Bice. She was the proud great-grandmother of 5 girls, Violet Crabtree, Mayla Crabtree, Rivka Landman, Hannah Landman, and Ella Landman.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to the Lake Jackson Church of Christ 402 Center Way Lake Jackson, TX 77566.

Betty ... Sorry I just learned of this. I'm sure you're by the Lord's side. You were always a kind, gracious, and patient woman. This place is better off having had your presence. Prayers for you, Danny, Verna, Julie, Allison, and the rest of your family and friends. 2020-2021 is such a challenging time for us. But very good memories to remember you by.
