Mel was a beautiful person inside and out. She was selfless, kind, generous, and hardworking. She was passionate about helping others and animals. Mel was always optimistic and uplifting, even through all of lifes struggles. She loved her nieces and nephews like they were her own. Some of her favorite things were cooking for family, playing with and teaching children, and crushed ice with a splash of sweet tea. Wherever she was there was joy, comfort, and always felt like home.

Our sincere condolences to the family. How comforting it is to know that our Great God, Jehovah, does not leave us without hope to see our loved ones again. May the "God of all comfort" (2 Cor 1:3) bring peace and hope in this difficult time.
