Frankliin Arthur Mc Kelvy

Frank Mc Kelvy, 63, of Clute passed away Monday, November 5, 2012 at Methodist Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born January 12, 1949 in Lake Charles, La. to R. H. and Pauline Mc Kelvy. Frank worked for Pipefitters Local 211 for 42 years. He was a member of Greenwood Gun Club where he excelled in trap shooting and five stand. Frank also loved fishing and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters: Maggie Sue Olson and Brenda Joyce Wolters.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Sherry and they shared many happy memories. He is also survived by one daughter Traci Mc Grath and husband Alan of Hutto, Texas, 2 grandchildren: Ryan Pax and Beckett Lux Mc Grath, 4 brothers: Don McKelvy and wife Carolyn of Brazoria, Jim Mc Kelvy and wife Linda of Ruskin, Florida, Harry Mc Kelvy and wife Katie of Brazoria, Robert Mc Kelvy of Katy, Texas,2 sisters, Paula Jean Tuck and husband Gerald-of Jacksonville, Texas, Debra Ann Mays and husband Kevin of Hide-a-way on the Gulf, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relative, as well as his dog " Sarah Lee".
The family will receive friends 10 am until service time at the Church. Memorial services will be 11 am Thursday, November 8, 2012 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints; 502 Southern Oaks Drive, Lake Jackson, Texas 77566.
